The Berkeley Public Library presents three free lecture/discussions by Dr. Chuck Wollenberg of Berkeley City College on the people and politics of city/university relations during significant eras of Berkeley History. The sessions will be in the third floor community room of the main library from 2-3:30 p.m. on three Saturday afternoons:

June 7 Phoebe Apperson Hearst and the Transformation of Town and Gown, 1896-1920
June 14 Mario Savio and the New Politics of Town and Gown, 1964-88
