UC Berkeley California Studies Dinner Seminar, March 23, 2016: Randy Shaw, “The Tenderloin: Sex, Crime, and Resistance in the Heart of San Francisco”

Randy Shaw, longtime director of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic, will discuss his new book on the history of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Wed. Mar. 23 from 7 to 9:15 p.m. In addition to his housing activism, Randy is author of five books, editor of the online news site “Beyond Chron,” and founder of the Tenderloin Museum. The seminar meets at the UCB Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, 2521 Channing Way (just east of Telegraph Ave.). Free admission and dinner.
